TRX unstaked and 14 days have passed: why you still need to withdraw
Under TRON Stake 2.0, unstaking is not the last step. After you unstake, the TRX enters a 14-day waiting period. Once that ends, it does not return to your available balance by itself. You need to send one more transaction to withdraw it.
What to do
- Open your wallet or Tronscan and connect the address that staked.
- Find the Stake or Resources section.
- Look for the unstaked TRX that has finished waiting, and choose Withdraw.
The transaction uses bandwidth, which most accounts already have, or a small amount of TRX.
Common questions
Do I lose anything by waiting? The amount does not disappear, but it earns no voting rewards while it sits there.
Can I cancel an unstake? Stake 2.0 has a function to cancel pending unstakes, and wallets vary in whether they offer it. Check your wallet's staking page.
Why does my wallet show less TRX than I expected? Frozen and unfreezing TRX is often shown separately from the available balance. Add those lines together before assuming anything is missing.
Check your own wallet
Check your TRX staking status with StuckScan. It is free and read-only: you paste a public address, with no wallet connection and no signing. It shows what it checked on each chain, and anything it could not check is listed as such.
Never share your seed phrase or private key. Nobody legitimate needs them to help you, and BOTLAB never charges a fee to "recover" funds.
